About Us

We

at Moonsighting.com through Moonsighting Committee Worldwide (MCW) collect and publish moonsighting reports from all over the world every month on the days of first crescent moonsighting. These sighting reports presented every month, consistently prove to match with the predicted Visibility Curves shown on the world map for every month since 1993, specially differentiating the areas showing naked eye visibility, binoculars visibility or telescopic visibility. We also present Hijri Calendar on our website and working towards a Global Hijri Calendar. In addition, we provide Prayer Times, and Qibla direction to thousands of cities all over the world. Through this website we have provided Prayer Times, Qibla Direction, and Moonsighting information to more than 500,000 people in more than 6,000 cities, in almost every Country in the World (at least 236 countries) including small islands of Tokelao (population: only 1500), and even polar regions (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Northern Canada, and Alaska), where the sun does not rise or set for several months. Our work can be seen on this website.
